NATURAL MINED DIAMONDS
Mother nature is amazing. 150km beneath our surface, right now, she is creating an environment with the perfect amount of pressure and temperature for carbon atoms to bond together to create the most amazing creation, DIAMONDS.
Mined diamonds can take millions of years to form, they undergo changes in temperature and pressure and when the time is right, they’re brought up to the surface via volcanoes where they can then be mined. There are many mines around the world that produce diamonds, but the most notable mines are found in Canada, Russia and Botswana.
Once diamonds are mined and sorted, they’re then sent to diamond cutters. Where, with the use of great new technology, they’re able to cut and polish rough diamonds with the least amount of waste. This technology also allows diamond cutters to be able to discover the best way to polish the perfect diamond. Which is why the cut of diamonds is so much more important now.
We understand that the cut of a diamond is going to allow a diamond to do what it was made to do, sparkle. With perfect refraction and scintillation, a well cut diamond will flicker with rainbow colours, so that when you’re looking at your new engagement ring, you won’t want to look away.
