Consultations are the starting point for every custom piece and are the best way to talk through budget, style, and timeline directly with a designer before committing to anything.
What happens at a first consultation
Expect an unhurried conversation, not a sales pitch. A designer will ask about the person you're designing for, any reference images or heirloom pieces you've brought along, and your budget - then start sketching initial concepts and talking through metal and stone options in real time.
What to bring
• Reference images or Pinterest boards, if you have them - helpful but not essential
• A rough budget in mind, so design options can be realistic from the start
• Any heirloom stones or metal you're considering incorporating
• Ring size, if known - otherwise this can be worked out at the studio
Malvern or Moonee Ponds?
Both Micheli boutiques offer the full custom design service, so the choice generally comes down to whichever location is more convenient. Some clients also like to visit both before deciding who they'll work with - there's no obligation attached to a first conversation. We also offer this experience as close as we can to our valued interstate and international clients virtually.
