Step 1: The Design Consultation
Your journey begins with a private discussion in our Malvern or Moonee Ponds studio. We explore your lifestyle, aesthetic preferences, and metal choices. For men, you can browse our ready-made styles or explore custom variations. For women, we look closely at your engagement ring to design a custom band that complements it perfectly. You’ll try on our signature Micheli samples to establish the perfect width, profile, and fit.
Step 2: Diamond & Gemstone Selection
Once your direction and budget are confirmed, we move into the technical specifications. If your custom ladies' or men's band includes diamonds or gemstones, we source a curated selection of premium stones to match your design. For classic men's ready-made bands, we finalise your sizing and metal preference (such as Platinum, 18k Yellow, White, or Rose Gold). Upon a deposit, your pieces move into production.
Step 3: CAD Visualisation & Approval
To ensure absolute precision - especially for women’s custom bands wrapping around an engagement ring - we create a high-definition CAD (Computer-Aided Design) model. You are invited to view these renderings to ensure every proportion and spacing is exactly as you imagined before we begin casting.
Step 4: Master Craftsmanship & Collection
Once the design is approved, our Melbourne master jewellers begin the hand-finishing process in our local workshop. Whether finishing a custom bespoke ladies' band or sizing a premium men's ring, everything is crafted with European-standard mastery. Your rings will be ready for collection in just a few weeks, beautifully presented for your wedding day.

Do men have to custom make their rings?
No. We offer a comprehensive range of premium, ready-made men's wedding bands in various widths, metals, and profiles (such as classic, modern matte, or bevelled edge). However, if you want something entirely unique, our custom service is always available to men as well.
