Naomi Wood

Malvern Manager & Senior Design Consultant

With almost a decade of experience in fine jewellery, Naomi brings a unique blend of technical expertise and creativity to her role. With experience both on the bench and in bespoke design, she leads the Bespoke team and works closely with clients to create one-of-a-kind pieces.

Inspired by Australian landscapes, Hollywood Regency and coloured gemstones, Naomi is drawn to bold, structural design and the opportunity to create future heirlooms. She is also passionate about Micheli’s sustainable approach to restoring and remodelling jewellery, and a strong advocate for individuality over mass production.

Outside of jewellery, Naomi brings her creativity to the stage as a cabaret performer.

Alice Sandric

Malvern Design Consultant

With a background in architecture and almost two years in the jewellery industry, Alice brings a creative and technical perspective to bespoke design. After completing both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture, she was drawn to jewellery as the perfect combination of technical drawing, creativity and craftsmanship.

Inspired by art history, architecture and design eras from the Renaissance to Art Deco, Alice loves reinterpreting the past through a contemporary lens. Her design approach is often led by the individual character of each stone, creating pieces that feel timeless, unexpected and personal.

Outside of Micheli, Alice is an artist and painter who recently held her first art exhibition.

Andrea Fazekas

Malvern Senior Design Consultant

As a Senior Design Consultant at Micheli’s Malvern Boutique, Andrea brings six years of jewellery industry experience and a lifelong passion for design to her role.

Inspired by nature, colour, different cultures and travel, Andrea is drawn to creating pieces that feel truly unique - whether through an exceptional gemstone or an unexpected design detail.

Her favourite part of the process is seeing an initial idea come to life as a beautiful piece of jewellery designed to be worn and enjoyed.

Outside of Micheli, Andrea loves spending time in nature, exploring new places and travelling, or unwinding at home with a good book.

Tennille

Tennille entered the jewellery industry in 2021 and quickly found her passion in the creativity, craftsmanship and personal connection that comes with creating meaningful jewellery.

Inspired by her clients and the endless possibilities of design, Tennille's style is modern with a twist. She is drawn to unusual, considered designs that feel distinctive and unexpected while remaining elegant and timeless. She particularly loves finding ways to incorporate personal details, hidden elements and subtle symbols that make each piece unique to its owner.

Tennille prides herself on offering honest, genuine guidance and loves seeing a client’s vision come to life. At Micheli, she values the genuine sense of family and the opportunity to create pieces that can be treasured for generations.

Outside of work, Tennille enjoys travelling, beautiful dinners and spending time with family and friends.

Eric

Micheli Administrator & Consultant

Eric is part of the Administration and Consulting team at Micheli’s Moonee Ponds Boutique, bringing six years of professional experience in the jewellery industry and a lifelong connection to the craft.

Inspired by the many mentors around him, Eric enjoys continuing to learn and is particularly drawn to unusual, unconventional designs that challenge him to think differently. His favourite part of the job is seeing the smiles on clients’ faces when a piece is complete.

Eric loves Micheli’s close-knit, family environment and the opportunity to continue growing alongside the team. Outside of work, he enjoys learning new skills, currently exploring woodworking, and tinkering with and designing additions for his car.

Cal

Malvern Jeweller

With eight years of experience in the jewellery industry, Cal is a qualified bench jeweller with a passion for craftsmanship and creating pieces designed to be treasured for generations.

His approach to the craft is influenced by a remarkable family history in art and silversmithing, including his great-great-grandfather, acclaimed artist Sir James Dromgole Linton. Discovering this family connection inspired Cal to pursue jewellery himself, and it continues to influence his focus on quality and craftsmanship today.

At Micheli, Cal loves the variety of pieces created in the workshop and the opportunity to bring each client’s individual vision to life.

Aidan

Moonee Ponds Jeweller

With 20 years of experience in the jewellery trade, Aidan brings extensive hands-on experience to his role as a Jeweller at Micheli’s Moonee Ponds Boutique.

Beginning his career in Wellington, New Zealand, Aidan completed his apprenticeship before spending a decade working at the bench. He later managed a business specialising in estate jewellery and bullion before relocating to Melbourne in 2023 to continue his career.

Aidan loves Micheli’s welcoming, family-like atmosphere and knew from his first visit that it was the right place to continue his journey. Outside of work, he enjoys running, keeping active and attending the occasional AFL game.

Tara Wilmhurst

Micheli Administrator

With a lifelong passion for jewellery and more than 20 years of experience working with it in various creative capacities, Tara brings a deep appreciation for artistry and craftsmanship to her role at Micheli.

After discovering her passion through metalwork classes at school, Tara went on to study Gold and Silversmithing before joining Micheli over two and a half years ago. In her administrative support role, she helps coordinate the day-to-day operations behind a seamless client experience.

Inspired by exceptional artistry, vintage jewellery and the intersection of art and design, Tara loves seeing an idea evolve into a beautiful, hand-created object. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in the great outdoors and camping.

Marc Salzmann

Micheli Founder & Director

As Owner and Director of Micheli Jewellery, Marc brings a lifelong passion for creativity, craftsmanship and working with his hands to the business he founded.

Beginning his working life at almost 15 in a cabinet maker’s warehouse before moving into commercial estimating, Marc eventually realised he wanted a career that allowed him to fully express his creative side - leading to the creation of Micheli Jewellery.

While he oversees all aspects of the business, Marc’s true passion remains working closely with clients to design and create bespoke, one-of-a-kind pieces that are personal, meaningful and made to become future heirlooms.

Anna Salzmann

As Micheli’s Resident Photographer and Content Manager, Anna combines a lifelong connection to jewellery with her passion for photography. Having grown up around jewellers from the age of eight and worked in the industry since she was 18, she brings a deep understanding of jewellery to the way she captures each piece.

Her creative process begins with the finished piece itself, finding the best way to highlight its unique character, craftsmanship and detail. Anna loves working alongside her family and documenting Micheli’s continued growth.

Outside of work, Anna is a passionate reader and previously spent several years living and working in London within the jewellery industry.

Chloe Williams

Executive Assistant and Event Manager

With 14 years in the jewellery industry, Chloe brings a love of beautiful design, gold and diamonds to her role as HQJ’s Executive Assistant and Event Manager.

Having accidentally fallen into the industry during a university holiday job, Chloe quickly realised she had found her place. Her personal style is unmistakably bezel-heavy, stacked gold and jewellery that feels completely true to the person wearing it.

Chloe loves the variety of working in jewellery and the magic of seeing a client’s vision come to life. Outside of work, she enjoys turning any social occasion into an excuse for cheese and wine, collecting useless facts and judging books largely by their pink covers.
